Methodology
We surveyed 1,012 Americans about their Halloween costume plans and preferences. Among them, 7% were baby boomers, 24% were Gen X, 54% were millennials, and 15% were Gen Z. Also, 51% were women, 47% were men, and 2% were nonbinary or nonconforming. We also used Google Trends search volume data for 30 sexy-costume-related searches for all 50 states over the past 12 months.
